Assistant Campaign Marketing Manager (Part Time – 0.5 FTE)

The Assistant Campaign Marketing Manager role will be responsible for supporting the development and delivery of integrated marketing campaigns to drive brand awareness, client acquisition, and revenue growth across Tax. This role requires some strategic thinking, creativity, and a good understanding of various marketing channels and tools. The ideal candidate will have some experience supporting end-to-end marketing campaigns and working cross-functionally with different teams.
This role would suit an assistant marketing manager who is results-driven with some experience in developing client-centric growth marketing strategies. Stakeholder skills and the ability to help drive campaign delivery to impactful outcomes are key attributes.
What will you be doing?
Campaign Strategy and Planning:
- Build relationships with key stakeholders and the business development teams across Priority Sector and Capability areas
- Brings a commercial mindset and has ability to spot the opportunity in the delivery of campaigns and projects
- Supports the delivery of high performing end to end brand, lead generation and sales campaigns – from click to client
- Future focused – ability to share ideas, as well as be challenged on key ideas and concepts, to foresee the potential impact and value creation of marketing activities
- Identify target audiences and appropriate marketing channels
- Create campaign budgets and timelines
Campaign Execution:
- Constantly reviewing better ways of doing things and leveraging tech and digital platforms to deliver high performing campaigns and activities
- Coordinate with internal teams (e.g., creative, product, sales) and external vendors to ensure timely and effective campaign delivery
Performance Tracking and Optimization:
- Measure KPIs and performance metrics for campaigns
- Monitor and analyse campaign performance data to identify trends and insights
- Optimise campaigns based on performance data to improve ROI and achieve targets
Collaboration:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration of campaign activities
- Work with other teams across Marketing & Corporate Affairs, as well as other sales enablement teams to deliver a connected one team culture
- Provide regular project and campaign updates to senior management on campaign progress and outcomes
- Champion the KPMG brand and purpose across our marketing team and our business to make sure that we stand out from the crowd
Market Research and Analysis:
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and client/market behaviours
- Leverage client insights and metrics to inform campaign strategies and decision-making
What will you need to do it?
- Experience in marketing, with a focus on marketing/campaign management
- Experience working in a professional services environment
- Proven track record of supporting the delivery of impactful and effective marketing campaigns
- Knowledge of digital channels, including SEO/SEM, PPC, as well as CRM [MSD].
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in marketing tools and platforms (e.g., CRM software, marketing automation tools, analytics tools)
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Industry knowledge – with the ability to develop strong internal and external networks
- Analytical skills and experience with data-driven decision-making
