Job Overview:
As the Commercial Department Manager, you will be responsible for driving the growth and success of our commercial property division. You will manage all aspects of the commercial property portfolio, including sales, lettings, property management, and business development. You will work closely with the senior leadership team and be given the autonomy to shape and grow the department while aligning with the overall objectives of the business.

Key Responsibilities:
- Department Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the commercial department, ensuring a high standard of service, compliance, and operational efficiency.
- Business Development: Identify and develop new business opportunities in commercial sales and lettings. Cultivate relationships with new and existing clients, including investors, developers, and corporate clients.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and grow a team of commercial property professionals, fostering a collaborative, results-driven culture.
- Financial Management: Develop and manage the budget for the commercial department, ensuring profitability and growth. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and report regularly to senior management.
- Property Management: Oversee the management of commercial properties, ensuring effective tenant relationships, timely rent collections, and adherence to lease agreements.
- Marketing & Strategy: Develop and implement a marketing strategy for commercial properties, utilizing both traditional and digital marketing channels.
- Market Analysis: Stay up to date with the latest market trends, property values, and commercial property developments, providing insights and strategic recommendations to senior management.
- Client Relationship Management: Ensure high levels of client satisfaction through regular communication and proactive problem-solving.
- Legal & Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all commercial property transactions and operations comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
Experience & Skills Required:
- Experience: Proven experience in commercial real estate, ideally in a management or senior role. Experience in sales, lettings, and property management is essential.
- Leadership: Strong leadership abilities, with a track record of managing and developing a team.
- Business Acumen: An entrepreneurial mindset with a keen understanding of how to grow and develop a successful commercial real estate business.
- Financial Skills: Strong financial and budget management skills, with experience in profit & loss analysis and strategic planning.
- Relationship Building: Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of commercial property markets, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Technology Proficiency: Comfortable using real estate management software, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
