The Social Media Manager will be embedded within the England content team, supporting their existing content managers across both teams in executing their content plan whilst adding your creative flair! Therefore, experience working with or within a rights holder of similar standing to that of The FA is a must for this job. You should be able to demonstrate an equally strong knowledge and passion for elite-level football in both the men’s and women’s games.

HOW YOU'LL SPEND YOUR TIME
- Building upon a pre-defined social media strategy and its execution to drive KPIs including commercial growth, brand awareness, engagement and performance;
- Day-to-day liaison and communication with the client;
- Content ideation, creation and publication across predominantly Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Threads and WhatsApp.
- Feeding into and updating a monthly content calendar;
- Taking direction from England Content Managers in the effective delivery of tasks and objectives;
- Briefing the wider Little Dot Studios team, editors and designers on requirements and management the feedback process to the successful delivery of assets;
- Work across key live events (i.e. match days, major tournaments, senior/development camps and commercial activity) in an editorial and channel management capacity.
- Ensuring pre-agreed workflows are followed, and deadlines met, whilst ensuring consistent high-quality work;
- Community management across channels by optimising post copy and assets for engagement and applying channel metadata efficiently.
- Executing and maintaining the brand tone of voice and visual identity;
- Monitoring performance of content using platform analytics
- Social listening: monitoring conversation in relevant areas and engaging when appropriate.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
Skills matter, experience is useful, attitude is everything.
- Strong knowledge of social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Threads, WhatsApp).
- Excellent understanding of platform analytics and reporting.
Strong evidence of creating, and publishing, engaging, entertaining and informative content.
- Thorough knowledge of men's and women's football, particularly England teams (senior and development levels.)
- Ability to use Adobe Premiere Pro and Photoshop to an intermediate standard whilst knowledge of After Effects is beneficial but not essential
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal.)
- Awareness of what a live football cycle (matchdays, tournaments) looks like.
- Requirement to spend at least two days a week at Wembley Stadium.
- Ability to manage a large digital community, responding to conversations and producing reactive content where appropriate.
