The Role
Join our Growth team as Marketing and Content Executive to drive awareness and sales across our portfolio brands.
If you’re a hands on, savvy marketing generalist with brilliant copywriting skills, a knack for creative brief writing and experience implementing campaigns and communications for organic and paid marketing channels, we’d love to hear from you. You’ll be a proactive self-starter who thrives in a fast paced environment and excels in taking a ‘test and learn’ approach to drive the best results for the business.
Responsibilities:
Copywriting: Craft highly engaging and succinct copy for multichannel marketing campaigns and email communications to drive customer leads/signups, loyalty and retention. Write SEO-optimised website copy for brand websites to drive organic traffic through Google search.
Creative Briefing: Brief our design agency to develop creative assets for marketing campaigns and key landing pages. You’ll set the objective, define key results and analyse performance to drive incremental improvements.
Offline Marketing Activation: Support the Head of Brand Marketing in leading our offline customer acquisition activity planning, supporting the briefing and delivery of creative assets and lead generation mechanics for events, trade shows, and direct mail.
Email Marketing: Develop highly engaging email marketing campaigns, writing copy, supplying imagery, building the campaigns and monitoring results to drive leads, retention and referrals.
Social Media and Content Creation: Own and implement our organic social communications, leading the content plan, writing copy, producing and launching assets to drive brand engagement.
Insight Building: Use customer, competitor and market insight to build the rationale for all of your marketing efforts, engaging in call listening, customer research studies (focus groups and surveys) and conducting desktop research to inform copy and creative decisions.
Performance Tracking and Reporting: Support in the monitoring and analysis of marketing initiatives, providing regular reports and recommendations for optimisation to improve overall effectiveness.
Brand Advocacy: Champion and promote the brand voice and messaging across all marketing channels, ensuring a cohesive and engaging customer experience.
What we’re looking for:
Experience: 2-5 years of relevant marketing experience, ideally in a startup or agile business environment.
Copywriting Skills: Demonstrable experience crafting compelling copy across on and offline channels with experience writing SEO-optimised website copy to drive website traffic through organic search.
Creative Mindset: A strong ability to generate innovative ideas and develop engaging content that captures the target audience's attention across various channels.
Ability to multitask: Tackle multiple projects in tandem with the ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines without compromising on quality.
Communication and Collaboration: Clear written and verbal communication skills with excellent interpersonal skills, as someone who thrives in a collaborative setting but can also independently drive results.
Knowledge of Marketing Tools: Familiarity with marketing automation tools (e.g., HubSpot), content management systems (e.g., WordPress), and design software (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) to support campaign execution and content creation.
Data-Driven Approach: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and performance metrics to optimise content strategy, improve engagement, and drive conversion.
Social Media Expertise: Proven experience managing and growing social media channels, creating engaging content, and developing strategies to increase brand awareness and community engagement across platforms.
Project Management Skills: Strong organisational skills to coordinate multiple campaigns simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with marketing objectives.
Extra Credit:
Creative Asset Development: Ability to design and produce original creative assets for social media, content marketing, and employer branding, effectively communicating brand messages and engaging target audiences.
