RESPONSIBILITY AND AUTHORITY
This position will focus on the implementation of patient marketing tactics that support organizational growth strategies. This role includes planning, tactical execution and measurement of critical patient programs under limited direction.
This position is authorized for financial expenditures/commitment levels as defined by the Global Authority Matrix.
The Marketing Manager, NM - Epilepsy works closely with the Field Marketing teams and regional Sales Directors/Managers to propose and deliver appropriate actions to support them, help them seize business opportunities as well as address obstacles and issues, and refine tactics and goals as needed with responsiveness and a can-do attitude. You have a data-driven mindset allowing you to easily interpret market trends, competitor activity and report on the findings or build recommendations going forward.
The position has an International Marketing remit with a scope of activities in APAC, EMEA, LATAM and sits within the International Marketing Hub that establishes the plans for the region.
Major accountabilities
- Understand patient needs through market research and advisory boards
- Help build and execute key engagement, communication, and education tactics focused on a variety of patients and caregivers.
- Co-develop content marketing strategy and dissemination across channels to increase customer awareness, engagement, and conversion
- Support upcoming product launch initiatives with a focus on messaging and collateral development
- Identify opportunities to amplify content across various marketing channels and external media outlets
- Collaborate with external partners (incl. agency) and cross-functional stakeholders (incl. sales)
- Participate in and actively manage planning initiatives as they relate to the annual strategic plan, and the commercial operating plan
- Work closely with the rest of the Marketing team to inform & develop marketing strategies.
- Organizes and/or collaborates on regional and international patient events.
- Manage the timely delivery of marketing promotional and resource materials to internal stakeholders
- Develop and maintain relationships with advocates and key opinion leaders
- Track progress of key initiatives, measure impact, and recommend options for optimization
- Manage budget effectively for key responsible projects
- Personal ethics consist with LivaNova values and culture, championing the Ethics and Compliance culture.
- This position may require moderate business travel of 25% or more of the time.

Education

Minimum requirements & qualifications
- Relevant experience in Sales/Marketing within healthcare/medical device industry
- Excellent research, analytical, and data interpretation skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to communicate complex information in an easy-to-understand format
- Able to work independently and take ownership and responsibility
- Flexible to promptly respond to business needs
