We are seeking an experienced marketer responsible for planning, executing and driving campaigns to sell tickets, sponsorship and membership to our events (in person/virtual), and customer growth campaigns across various channels, including social media and email marketing.
This is a 7 month fixed contract position.
Tweak is publishing and events business, which owns and runs the content brands The Developer www.thedeveloper.live, the Festival of Place www.festivalofplace.co.uk and Pineapples Awards www.thepineapples.co.uk which inform and connect professionals working in the development and design of urban spaces, bringing a community of placemakers together through online journalism, podcasts, print magazine, awards and live events.
Who you are
• Proven experience in digital marketing, including campaign management and email marketing, preferably in the events industry.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency with Mailchimp, Canva and comfortable with social media scheduling and updating websites
• Understanding of email analytics, data interpretation, and reporting metrics (KPIs).
• Skilled in CRM management, marketing automation, and audience segmentation.
• Strong understanding of GDPR and privacy issues
• Experience targeting B2B customers and a high level of customer focus.
• High level of creativity, self-initiative, and a service-oriented approach.
• Strong time and quality management skills
• The ability to prioritise, keep a clear head and work independently to deadlines or during live events
Not essential but would benefit from: An interest in urban design and sustainability. Experience of regeneration, architecture and the built environment.
What you’ll do
• Drive ticket sales for our events including the concept and planning through to execution and analysis.
• Develop strategies to enhance the consumer journey through our online and social media touchpoints to maximise exposure and secure ticket purchases.
• Liaise with speakers, customers and others as needed
• The planning, execution, and analysis of customer growth campaigns via email and social media to drive lead generation, tickets and membership sales
• Develop digital assets such as emails and social media posts to boost engagement, optimise call-to-action responses, boost retention/rebooking and enhance conversions.
• Fulfil social media and marketing requirements of sponsors and supporters of events and content
• Be part of the onsite delivery team at the events.
• Lead all planning and execution of prospect and customer events (this includes in person events, virtual events, and webinars).
