JMAN Group is a fast-growing data engineering & data science consultancy. We work primarily with Private Equity Funds and their Portfolio Companies to create commercial value using Data & Artificial Intelligence. We are headquartered in London with Offices in New York, London and Chennai. Our team of almost 400 people is a unique blend of individuals with skills across commercial consulting, data science and software engineering.
We were founded by cousins Anush Newman (Co-founder & CEO) and Leo Valan (Co-founder & CTO) and have grown rapidly since 2019. In May 2023 we took a minority investment from Baird Capital and in January 2024 we opened an office in New York with the ambition of growing our US business to be as large as, if not bigger than, our European business by 2027.
We are looking for a motivated and energetic Marketing Coordinator to join our dynamic Marketing team. Lead by our US-based CMO, we need someone who is well-organised, self-starter, a clear communicator, and a strong independent thinker. Your key responsibilities:
As a Marketing Coordinator, you will provide support to the marketing team’s initiatives. In this role, you will help execute marketing campaigns, coordinate internal marketing initiatives, and assist in providing administrative support.
We are looking for a proactive and organised candidate, who is creative and motivated to perform for the team.
Key responsibilities for Marketing Coordinator include:
- Calendarizing Marketing Activity: Maintain the marketing activity calendar, which includes all internal timelines and projects as well as external marketing campaigns and third-party media partnerships and sponsorships.
- Tactical Marketing Plan: Provide support for the implementation of traditional and non-traditional marketing activities as part of the global marketing plan, including implementation of our Social Media Strategy.
- Marketing Collateral Development: Assist with the development of marketing collateral and execution of marketing campaigns through both digital and static channels to support awareness- and opportunity-building for our subject matter expertise and value proposition.
- Marketing Operations Effectiveness: Provide administrative support to the CMO and JMAN leadership team to ensure seamless coordination (i.e., PR management, calendar syncs)
- Internal Marketing Coordination: Help coordinate our internal marketing initiatives including our Employee/Employer Value Proposition and Environmental, Social and Governmental (ESG) Program.
- Marketing Support: Supply the client-facing teams with marketing materials to support business development and sales needs. Leverage local activities and support global best practices by managing the group marketing toolkit and collateral library. Manage the marketing portion of the CRM database, ensuring data in is constantly cleaned and updated.
Your skills and experience:
- A recent graduate, or a minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in marketing or administration
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with clients, colleagues, distributors and other stakeholders.
- You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Outstanding organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects.
- A team player, who has the ability to interact with multiple people, across all levels of the business.
- You display a high level of self-awareness and take ownership of your personal development areas. You are open to constructive feedback and willing to learn in order to grow.
