As an eCommerce Executive, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the online presence of a growing premium brand in a dynamic and creative environment. This role will be responsible for supporting the head of ecommerce in driving the success of our eCommerce operations by optimising the online customer journey, managing digital campaigns and managing relations with external partners.
Core responsibilities:
1. eCommerce Support:
- Day-to-Day Management: Assist the eCommerce Manager with daily management of our Shopify Plus platform, ensuring seamless operation, accurate product listings, and issue resolution.
- Customer Journey Optimisation: Work closely with the team to improve website performance and the overall online customer experience, identifying opportunities to enhance navigation, conversion rates, and user satisfaction.
- Content and Asset Coordination: Ensure digital assets like product imagery, banners, and copy align with campaigns and promotions to create a cohesive online shopping experience.
2. Digital Marketing:
- Channel Management: Support the Head of eCommerce in overseeing key digital marketing channels, including email marketing, affiliate programs, Meta (Facebook & Instagram), Google AdWords, and other paid platforms.
- Campaign Execution: Assist in setting up and optimizing campaigns, managing tasks such as audience targeting, ad creation, A/B testing, and monitoring campaign performance.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with internal teams and external partners to ensure digital campaigns align with overall brand strategy and sales objectives.
- SEO/SEM Support: Contribute to organic strategies on and off site, helping improve visibility through organic search engine rankings.
3. Reporting:
- Performance Reporting: Provide weekly reports on all digital marketing channels (email, paid ads, affiliate) and overall website performance to track KPIs such as traffic, conversions, and ROI.
- Insights and Recommendations: Analyse key metrics using tools like Google Analytics and Meta Ads Manager to identify trends and provide actionable insights for future optimization.
- Customer Journey Analytics: Monitor customer behaviour, site funnels, and purchase paths to inform improvements in website usability and marketing strategies.
Requirements:
• A degree in marketing, communications, digital media, or a related field.
• 1-2 years hands on experience with Shopify
• 1-2 years of experience in digital marketing with a focus on eCommerce / D2C marketing including Adwords, Meta Business, Klaviyo and SEO
• Strong understanding of digital marketing metrics, including experience with GA4 / Google Analytics
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to evolving marketing strategies.
