Cooley (UK) LLP is seeking a Digital Marketing and Design Specialist to join the Marketing and Business Development team.
Position summary: Under the supervision of the Associate Director of Digital Marketing, the Digital Marketing and Design Specialist supports key marketing efforts, with a focus on email marketing, website optimisation and creative design. This role includes managing digital campaigns, sourcing images, editing content and maintaining alignment with branding guidelines while collaborating with the Practice Group Marketing team.
Position responsibilities:
- Create, schedule, and manage email marketing campaigns, including newsletters, invitations and time-sensitive alerts
- Monitor performance analytics for email and websites, providing actionable insights to optimise engagement and improve overall effectiveness
- Work with the team to identify and implement improvements in the UI/UX design and responsiveness of the firm’s websites and digital properties
- Source and curate high-quality visuals and multimedia assets for email and other digital campaigns
- Ensure digital properties, including websites and email tools, are maintained and updated regularly
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to email templates, website functionality, and performance
- Assist the creative team in designing visually engaging presentations and other marketing collateral
- Edit campaign content to align with brand messaging and standards
- Collaborate with cross functional teams on integrated campaigns, pitches, and marketing materials
- Stay up to date with design, email and website marketing trends, GDPR compliance, and emerging digital technologies
Skills & Experience:
Required:
- Relevant experience ideally within a professional services environment
- Proficiency in email marketing platforms (e.g., Pardot, Marketo, Mailchimp), analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) and SEO best practices.
- Strong skills in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite and Figma
- Experience with HTML and CSS for email and website template customisation
- Familiarity with website design principles, including responsive design and UI/UX best practices
- After orientation, proficiency in Microsoft Office and other firm applications
- Exceptional organisational and time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment
- Available to work overtime, as required
Preferred:
- Educated at degree level or equivalent
- Prior professional services experience

- Track record of creative problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Team-oriented with the ability to work collaboratively across offices and time zones
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with individuals at all levels within and outside of the firm
- Ability to communicate complex systems to non-experts and present initiatives and results to multiple audiences
