Our Marketing team is looking for an experienced Senior Content and PR Copywriter to join their well established team here at Blackfinch!
The Senior Content and PR Copywriter is responsible for developing effective editorial to share the Blackfinch growth story externally with advisers and the media.
The Senior Content and PR Copywriter will play an important role in the creation of valuable editorial that helps drive new business and develop existing business. You will work closely with the investment teams, the sales team and the wider marketing team to understand the market conditions and priorities, and then distil this into compelling content that initiates commercial outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce copy that continually differentiates our investment products from competitors.
- Support the delivery of the Blackfinch communication objectives, delivering copy that conveys our values and aligns to our brand positioning.
- Communicate the diversified value in our investment products and the markets in which they operate.
- Work with the wider marketing team to ensure all content is repurposed as effectively and efficiently as possible.
- Be responsible for championing and developing the tone of voice guidelines for Blackfinch, and other brands within the wider Blackfinch Group.
- Work alongside stakeholders to create and finalise a wide range of content formats, for example:
- Award submissions • Press releases
- Product literature • Case studies
- Client planning scenarios • Blogs
- Video scripts • Performance updates
- Market updates
- Assist colleagues around the business with proof reading and copy editing to maintain a consistent and powerful execution of our tone of voice throughout all touchpoints.
- Monitor current stories and trends, research industry-related topics, publications, influencers, businesses and key industry bodies.
Key Experience
- Extensive experience working in editorial or journalism within the Financial Services environment.
- A marketing related or journalism qualification at graduate level.
