Summary
Guidewire is seeking a skilled and dynamic Content Manager, based in the EMEA region, who will be responsible for working with subject matter experts to develop, package, and promote high-value content for European and global audiences. Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Corporate Marketing, this role will collaborate with regional leaders to prioritize and produce content that helps drive demand and extend the Guidewire brand to key audiences.The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the European insurance market, excellent editorial skills, and the ability to manage multiple content projects simultaneously.
Job Description
Strong understanding of the EMEA insurance market, with experience creating content for diverse audiences
Demonstrated experience with established and emerging communication channels, such as videos, podcasts, social media, etc.
Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a keen eye for detail
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
Familiarity with project management systems, SEO best practices, and analytics tools
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in English is required; additional European languages are a plus
Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
Collaborate with regional subject matter experts to develop engaging, relevant, and high-value content that supports business objectives across EMEA
Support the development of original content, including articles, white papers, case studies, blog posts, podcasts, and other marketing materials
Polish and refine content produced by SMEs to ensure it meets brand tone, style, and quality standards
Develop and execute a prioritized content strategy tailored to the EMEA market, ensuring alignment with global marketing objectives.
Develop and maintain an editorial calendar, ensuring timely delivery of content that supports ongoing campaigns, product launches, and PR initiatives.
Manage the publication of content across various platforms, including the company website, social media, and partner channels
Work closely with local public relations leaders to identify content opportunities that enhance brand visibility and reputation among media and analysts
Coordinate with the broader marketing team to ensure content aligns with overall marketing strategies and regional business goals
Liaise with external agencies, freelancers, and vendors to ensure content quality and delivery meet company standards
Monitor content performance using analytics tools, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
Optimize content based on performance data to enhance engagement, reach, and conversion rates
Maintain consistency in messaging across all content outputs, ensuring alignment with global brand standards
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field
5+ years of experience in content creation, editing, and management, preferably in a B2B environment in the technology or insurance industry
Google Workspace proficiency
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Proven experience working with regional SMEs, PR agencies, and cross-functional marketing teams
