The Junior Copy and Content Writer will support the Copy and Content Manager in fulfilling iQ’s copy requirements. This role involves writing engaging copy that is consistent, on-brand, and supports income generation via offline and online platforms. The Junior Copy and Content Writer will ensure all copy aligns with iQ’s tone of voice and brand personality, with clear marketing objectives to engage, retain, attract, and convert potential customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Write copy to engage current and potential iQ residents and stakeholders involved in the purchase decision-making process.
- Generate and adapt copy for various collateral, including leaflets, brochures, adverts, and posters.
- Create digital and content marketing copy, including engagement and marketing emails, online banners, blogs, and other content marketing forms.
- Continuously review and fine-tune copy to ensure high engagement and conversion levels,including reviewing, writing, and editing copy for the web.
- Ensure online copy is SEO-friendly and includes relevant keywords.
- Write online copy using techniques such as writing for the scanning eye, using the F pattern, and crafting subject lines that guarantee email opens.
- Write copy for specific online platforms, such as the iQ website, resident app, booking portal, andsocial media channels
- Develop copy considering different stages of the customer journey, encouraging movement
- through the sales pipeline from warm lead to repeat customer and brand advocate
- Assist in developing and educating others on the iQ tone of voice
- Support the Studio and Content team in creating, editing, adapting and implementing engagement plans and content decks
- Ensure iQ’s copy and tone of voice are consistent across all media, marketing collateral, and internal documents for both internal and external audiences
- Serve as a brand expert and resource representing the MarComms team in cross-departmental brand team meetings
Skills and Experience:
- Highly creative with a natural flair for writing and the ability to produce original copy quickly for all iQ’s marketing channels.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience responding to briefs and writing copy to generate sales.
- Experience in a multi-channel marketing environment.
- Attention to detail with excellent grammar and punctuation.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with strong organizational and project management skills
We operate a hybrid working model with 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home.
