Account Manager (PR & Marketing)

We are seeking an experienced PR Account Manager whose passion is FOOD. You’ll be so exuberant and creative that identifying and pitching stories for foodie clients will be second nature. You’ll revel in everything from producing enticing recipe reels on socials, to hosting the media at industry events, cooking and filming in the on-site kitchen to donning wellies and travelling to farms around the country to meet producers and tell their stories.
This already established specialist agency is on a journey full of energy and opportunity and is seeking a strong Account Manager who will be responsible for managing client relationships and ensuring the successful execution of client projects. You’ll be the lynch pin in a busy team knowing exactly what stage campaigns are at, and what needs to be done. You’ll work closely with clients to understand their business needs and deliver tailored campaigns that exceed expectations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serve as the main point of contact for assigned clients, building and maintaining strong relationships.
- Understand clients’ business goals, industry and competitive landscape to offer strategic guidance.
- Regularly communicate with clients to review progress, gather feedback and address any concerns
- Coordinate with the team to ensure smooth project execution across multiple marketing channels, including media relations, social media, influencer marketing, digital and content creation.
- Develop project timelines, budgets and scopes of work, and manage these throughout the project.
- Execute the design and production of campaign content including print materials, recipes, web updates, social media, press releases, events, photography and videography.
- Work with the media to deliver results from activities including sell-ins, reactive and proactive media to secure coverage.
- Create and maintain client social planners, scheduling posts and monitoring social platforms as required.
- Actively explore and engage with influencers, identifying useful contacts for client campaigns.
- Prepare briefs, organise studio and shoot preparations for content creation.
- Create detailed project plans and briefs that outline goals, timelines, budgets and deliverables.
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional services to existing clients.
- Assist in preparing new proposals and participating in pitch presentations.
- Manage the client budgets, ensuring projects are delivered within agreed financial parameters.
Ideal skills and experience:
- Experience in PR and media relations is essential
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or equivalent
- Experience in managing social media accounts, dealing with the media and working with influencers.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in account management, client services, or a related field, ideally in an agency environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and nurture client relationships.
- Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage timelines, budgets and deliverables.
- Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset.
- Proficiency in project management tools and a keen eye for detail.
