Overview
We are seeking a talented and creative Web Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for digital design and a keen eye for detail, with the ability to create visually appealing and user-friendly websites. As a Web Designer, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our online presence and ensuring an exceptional user experience across all platforms.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop responsive websites that align with brand guidelines and meet client requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyse user requirements, ensuring the final product meets both aesthetic and functional standards.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and mock-ups using tools such as Figma to visualise design concepts.
- Implement UI/UX best practices to enhance user engagement and satisfaction.
- Utilise HTML, CSS, and Less to build clean, efficient code for web applications.
- Conduct regular testing and troubleshooting of websites to ensure optimal performance across various devices and browsers.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in web design to continuously improve skills and knowledge.
- Manage digital marketing campaigns through platforms like MailChimp to enhance website traffic and engagement.
Experience
- Proven experience in web design or a related field, with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, along with a solid understanding of UX/UI principles.
- Familiarity with programming languages including Python is desirable but not essential.
- Experience with CSS for styling web pages and creating responsive designs is crucial.
- Knowledge of digital design principles, graphic design skills, and an understanding of branding strategies are advantageous.
- A proactive attitude towards learning new skills and adapting to changing technologies is essential for success in this role.
