Two exciting opportunities have arisen to join a progressive and innovative Digital Development Team for people who are committed to creating engaging, user-friendly digital processes and websites that drive business success. We’re looking for talented Web Application Developers to join our team and help us build, maintain, and enhance our digital presence.
Do you have what it takes to hit the ground running in a busy, vibrant and challenging technological environment? Are you dynamic, enthusiastic and willing to get involved in supporting an array of digital projects? If so this could be the rewarding role you are looking for.
The successful applicants will work with colleagues across the Council to improve the online experience for our customers in line with stakeholder expectations and business needs. They will be working on development and implementation of the council's digital systems and associated integrated technologies They will have an understanding of web analytics and customer-focussed end-to-end digital processes.
Role 1
Candidates will have proven experience as a Web Developer with expertise in building and managing websites and experience of using a CMS platform is essential. Experience or knowledge of web security practices and experience with patching and updating web software and web analytics management, is a plus.
Role 2
Candidates will have proven experience in developing and managing digital processes within the GovService platform, or equivalent experience with another complex CRM implementation is essential. Existing knowledge of process mapping and experience working with AGILE methodology, is desirable.
