An exciting opportunity has arisen in our Bettys Marketing Team, and we are looking for a Digital Designer to join us at our offices in the Bettys Bakery, Harrogate. As a Digital Designer, you will enhance Bettys’ digital presence by creating visually compelling and user-friendly digital content for organic social, paid social, and supporting our ecommerce team with digital assets. This role is essential in ensuring that all digital marketing materials align with Bettys’ brand standards and effectively engage the online audience.

Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you will create digital marketing assets that support all marketing campaigns, product launches, and activations for organic social, website campaign landing pages, and Branch and Cookery School emails. Taking the social media content briefs, you will develop a toolkit of templates and assets that support the monthly social media plan and all channels. Ensuring all digital designs adhere to Bettys’ brand guidelines, you will maintain a cohesive look across all digital platforms.
You will create engaging graphics and animations/GIFs for social media platforms to drive engagement and brand awareness, increasing content sharing. Working in partnership with the ecommerce team, you will develop creative/design outputs for the website, including landing pages, banners, emails, and third-party paid requirements. Collaborating closely with the marketing and ecommerce teams, you will understand project requirements and deliver designs that meet their needs, including ensuring photography shoots deliver for digital needs as well as physical.
Inputting and developing creative ideas to support marketing activations, product launches, and always-on communications, you will increase our customer quality perception and support customer number growth and sales as part of the wider design team. Revising designs based on feedback from stakeholders, you will ensure final outputs meet expectations. Staying updated with digital design trends, you will proactively bring fresh ideas to the table to keep Bettys’ digital presence current and engaging.
Monitoring the performance of digital designs, you will make data-driven improvements to enhance effectiveness. Continuously seeking opportunities to optimise processes and strategies, you will deliver cost and time savings while maintaining our quality standards. Identifying opportunities to be more sustainable and contribute to our communities, you will authentically bring this to life for our customers.

About you:
- 3+ years experience in digital design, preferably within the Food industry.
- Proficiency in creating a range of digital assets; static, animation, GIFs and social media formats and editing video.
- Experience of creating design assets for websites, social media, CRM.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to multi-task and meet critical deadlines.
- Creative problem-solving skills to address design challenges.
- Effective communicator and ability to collaborate on work with cross-functional teams.
