Summary:
As a Social Media Marketing Associate at Breakroom, you will be a key contributor to our marketing team:
- Content Creation: You'll excel in producing engaging content for TikTok and Meta, both paid and organic. Our TikTok channel is the UK's largest recruitment job board, helping young people navigate the job market
- Creative Freedom: While you'll follow a proven social media strategy, your creativity and fresh ideas will be valued. You'll thrive in a dynamic environment where continuous feedback drives our content creation process
- Visibility: With millions of UK jobseekers viewing our content monthly, you'll need to be as comfortable in front of the camera as you are behind it.
Key Focuses:
- Produce high-performing impactful content for paid and organic social media channels (Meta, TikTok, YouTube Shorts and Snap) that drive conversions and growth
- Understand each platform's audience, algorithm and trends, and what creates an attention grabbing, scroll stopping hook
- Convey compelling messages in under 20 seconds that aligns with our brand voice and style, and fits with UK culture, trends, and humour
- Own the complete content creation process from scripting and shooting to editing and optimisation
- Iterate on creatives rapidly and manage multiple videos at once
- Utilize data and intuition to inform creative strategies and optimise performance
- Keen eye on local and national news
- The role will involve very occasional UK travel to film at our partners' locations
- Be highly collaborative and work effectively with remote teams
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- A strong understanding of social media marketing and how to grow an engaged audience
- Willingness to show your face on content you produce for our social media channels
- Excellent video editing skills
- Organised and methodical to be able to produce high volumes of content
- Ability to accept continuous feedback
- Ability to work from our London office Tuesdays and Wednesdays
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience of social media growth drivers
- An understanding of data and how to use it to influence the content creation process
- Experience of producing content for social media ads
- Experience of producing content for a Gen Z audience
