Purpose of the Role
The Content Marketing Executive will develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy to drive brand awareness, generate leads, and engage our target audience. This role will involve creating high-quality content, optimising content for SEO, and analysing content performance using Google Analytics to measure success.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Content Creation: Develop and create a variety of high-quality content, including blog posts, articles, whitepapers, case studies, social media posts, and email newsletters.
- Content Strategy: Develop and implement a content calendar to ensure a consistent flow of content.
- SEO Optimisation: Optimise content for search engines by conducting keyword research, optimising on-page SEO, and building backlinks.
- Content Distribution: Distribute content through various channels, including social media, email marketing, and syndication.
- Content Analysis: Track and analyse content performance using Google Analytics to measure engagement and conversions.
- Social Media Marketing: Manage social media channels to build brand awareness and engage with the target audience.
- Email Marketing: Create and execute marketing campaigns to nurture leads and drive conversions.
- Google Ads: Manage and optimise Google Ads campaigns to drive website traffic and generate leads.
- Website Updates: Maintain and update the company website to ensure it is current and optimised for SEO.
- Analytics and Reporting: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate regular reports on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.
- Paid Digital Advertising: Manage paid digital advertising campaigns on platforms like Google Ads, social media, and other relevant channels.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Proven experience in content marketing and copywriting.
- Strong understanding of SEO principles and techniques.
- Excellent writing and editing skills.
- Proficiency in content management systems (CMS) and marketing automation tools.
- Strong analytical skills and experience using Google Analytics.
- Experience with Google Ads and other paid advertising platforms.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- A passion for storytelling and creating engaging content.
- Experience with B2B marketing is a plus.
