The primary objective of this position is to manage and execute the overall SEO strategy across multiple P&Ls, driving organic growth and performance improvements. As part of this role, you’ll manage the day-to-day execution of on-site, off-site, and technical SEO initiatives, with support from an external SEO agency and the Head of SEO. Working directly with internal teams such as UX, Content Editors, PR, and Developers to collaborate on implementing SEO initiatives.
Your day-to-day will involve closely aligning with various stakeholders across the business to fully understand product and commercial priorities and align them to the SEO strategy. This will include the Director of Digital Marketing, Head of SEO, Paid Media and Commercial teams.
What will I be doing?
- Collaborate with the Head of SEO to create the SEO strategy to drive traffic and organic growth across multiple P&Ls
- Manage the day-to-day execution of SEO activities across On-site, Off-site and Technical SEO, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and on time.
- Collaborate with Commercial stakeholders to support broader initiatives and provide performance reports.
- Work closely with Content Editors, Product teams, Developers and Paid Media teams to implement key initiatives.
- Collaborate with the Head of SEO to manage the day-to-day relationship with external SEO agencies, ensuring the delivery of agreed-upon tasks and strategic objectives.
- search intent research to understand customer search behaviour and translate findings into content recommendations.
- Analyse organic search results to identify opportunities, risks, and trends related to competitors and take appropriate actions.
- Report and measure the impact of website changes on rankings, share of voice, CTR, visits, and other performance signals.
- Monitor market changes, competitor shifts, and our performance to provide relevant insights for internal reports and meetings and assist the Head of SEO in managing commercial stakeholders by presenting performance updates and insights on competitive landscape changes.
- Support the team in developing Group-wide SEO best practices and integrated processes as needed.
What do I need?
- Demonstrated experience in implementing strategies cross On-page, Content, and Technical SEO.
- Continuously demonstrate innovation and initiative in SEO strategies and tactics.
- Target-oriented and focused on driving performance improvements.
- analytical skills, with experience using Google Analytics, SEO tracking tools, and SEO auditing tools for data analysis and reporting.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and presentation skills.
- Commercially minded, recognising the impact of digital experiences on customer outcomes and business results.
- Organised and capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proven track record of meeting deadlines.
- Demonstrated effective time management abilities.
- Clearly passionate about digital marketing, content, and prioritising customer needs.
