What is the role?
We are seeking a motivated, ambitious and creative Content Marketing Executive to join our content team to help drive growth across our private and corporate, strategies, delivering engaging, high-quality content for both online and offline channels. You’ll work closely with the marketing team, particularly Brand and Digital Marketing, and the Private and Corporate teams to ensure that all content aligns with brand guidelines and adds value to existing and prospective customers. This role contributes to content in a variety of ways, whether for sales support, direct customer engagement, delivering our social media strategy or strengthening our brand presence.
What will you be doing day to day?
- Content Creation: Produce and edit high-quality content for a variety of channels and audiences including social media, our partner network, and corporate events
- Social Media Roadmap Development & Delivery: Deliver the social media roadmap to drive organic growth, enhancing brand awareness and engagement across all platforms
- Brand Guidelines Development: Maintain and uphold brand guidelines for tone, style, and personality, ensuring all content aligns with established standards. Ensure a consistent brand voice and style that reflects our value proposition.
- Content Editing and Quality Control: Maintain high editorial standards, proofreading content and ensuring it meets brand guidelines and resonates with our target audiences.
- Collaboration with Freelancers: Create detailed briefs and manage production workflow, working closely with freelance designers and copywriters to develop engaging and valuable content for both online and offline distribution.
- Content Promotion: Work with the wider marketing team across CRM and Digital Marketing to ensure that content is actively promoted across our website, social media and offline channels to maximise reach and engagement.
- Wider Team Collaboration: Engage regularly with Brand, Digital Marketing, and private and corporate teams to deliver engaging content that supports our the wider marketing strategy, aligns with our brand, and delivers value to our clients & sales teams, positioning Lumon as a trusted source of information.
- Incorporating Customer Insights: Use customer research and external insights to inform content, ensuring it is relevant, customer-focused, and resonates with our audience.
- Performance Tracking: Analyse performance metrics for social media and content published on our website, providing insights for continuous improvement and optimisation.
What experience do you need to be successful in the role?
- Proven experience in content creation and social media management, ideally with 2+ years of experience.
- Strong analytical skills with proven experience of putting customer at the heart of data driven decision making.
- Excellent writing, proofreading, and communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Basic graphic design skills or experience working with design software (not a dealbreaker if you don’t have this experience, just be ready to learn!)
- Knowledge of CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress) with the ability to make content updates and understand basic site management.
- Demonstrated experience putting customers at the heart of data-driven decision-making and supporting the optimisation of commercial performance.
- You’ll be highly ambitious with high levels of curiosity, low ego, a strong work ethic and you’ll be someone who wants to see the team succeed together. You’ll have a career to date that demonstrates hard work, a focus on fulfilling your potential and enabling others around you to do the same.
- A proactive, creative, innovative, high-energy approach to content marketing; adaptable and resourceful.
- Commercially savvy, with a bias for action and strong decision-making skills.
- Excellent relationship builder, with strong stakeholder management skills. Previous experience in financial services is a plus, though experience in any fast-paced, data-rich environment is highly relevant.
