Bringing it to the role.
KFC UK & Ireland is looking to bring on board a talented and ambitious Marketing Operations Assistant. We want someone who not only LOVES chicken but has a real passion for growth and delivering winning results.
Our ambition is to be the undisputed chicken champions. Marketing Operations play a key role in this through the delivery of national campaigns and marketing communications into all in restaurant and digital touchpoints, which digital kiosks, the KFC App, KFC website and Delivery Aggregators
From developing campaigns with our internal teams, to briefing our agency partners, you will manage the seamless delivery of digital and e-commerce campaigns for each launch ensuring all KFC customers can order with us with ease.
What you’ll do
As a Marketing Operations Assistant, you will report into the Marketing Operations Manager and be in charge of delivering flawless execution of our national campaigns for UK & Ireland restaurants; including:
- Building strong relationships with internal departments (brand, finance, operations and tech) to deliver ‘right first time’ digital campaigns each season.
- Working with world class and award-winning agency partners, supporting the marketing team and tech from briefing through to execution of any e-commerce assets. This includes ensuring creative is on brand, artwork is correct, and digital channels have been implemented.
- Management of the approvals and sign offs for all e-commerce and digital assets within agreed deadlines.
- Briefing tech on the requirements and setup for products on to digital channels to ensure all campaigns are launched on time in full
- Testing the launch of product and campaigns on digital channels to ensure the setup meets your expectations and business needs
- Championing a Test & Learn mindset, with the ability to adopt best practices, and implement performance optimisations post campaign go live if required.
- Support cross-functional teams and marketing operations manager with ad hoc requests, Test & Learn Campaigns and/or creative updates for in restaurant.
- Tracking implementation and delivery of ad hoc campaigns with our agency partners and raise any blockers and interferences that prevent ‘right first time’ delivery.
Experience
- You have strong partnership skills - an important skill in this role as you partner with our agency partners, internal teams and our franchisees.
- You have experience working in a fast-paced environment. Ideally you will have experience working in a retail, QSR or restaurant environment.
- You are well-versed in Microsoft Office programs, and you take on Microsoft Excel like a pro!
- A bonus if you have experience in delivering digital or e-commerce campaigns on digital channel using content management systems, Jira and Monday.com
