The role
We are looking for a versatile Marketing Lead to oversee the marketing team and activities, reporting into the Head of Commercial. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting the marketing strategy in accordance with Head of Commercial, to maximize lead generation and conversion. The selected candidate will also be managing the day to day marketing team activities, preparing and analysing data, and managing marketing projects. This role requires a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to bring creative marketing solutions to life.
Your mission
· Oversee the marketing strategy, including campaign planning, segmentation, design, execution, and analytics
· Oversee the marketing team on day-to-day execution, ensuring the strategy set up in accordance with the Head of Commercial is implemented
· Own the marketing calendar
· Monitor and report on success of content across web, social networks, and campaigns
· Use of web and social analytics such as Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, to monitor performance metrics and analyse data to evaluate success of marketing activities
· Review and create multimedia content and copy for our blog, social media channels, web pages, emails, advertising, and other marketing campaigns and touchpoints
· Create and maintain project documentation
· Keep up with marketing industry culture and trends to source and campaign ideas for original, data-backed content and campaigns
· Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards, particularly in email marketing
Skills and experience
· Track record as a Marketing Generalist, touching upon multiple marketing funnel steps (mainly Lead generation, conversion and Content)
· Experience with a variety of multimedia content types and channels
· Experience in team management/coordination
· Strong understanding and utilisation of Paid Marketing, email marketing and content
· Excellent strategic planning skills with ability to multitask on a variety of projects at different stages at the same time
· Familiarity with running and managing social media platforms, CRM, CMS and data analytic tools
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills, high energy and drive
· Experience in creating and managing omnichannel customer journeys
· A proactive, hands-on, highly collaborative mindset, comfortable with handing or taking over projects from other team members
· Experience in working in a FCA regulated business (desired)
· Bachelor degree in Marketing or in other related fields
