Position Overview:
As the Email Marketing Specialist, you will play a crucial role in executing N.Peal’s email marketing strategy and managing customer relationships through effective CRM campaigns. Reporting to the Head of Ecommerce, you will work independently to plan, create, and analyse email campaigns, while managing customer data to enhance segmentation and personalisation. Your role is pivotal to driving customer engagement, increasing retention, and contributing to revenue growth through targeted email and CRM strategies.
The role offers significant scope for creativity, allowing you to shape and refine N.Peal’s email marketing and CRM approaches. Based in at our head office, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams including content, digital marketing, and social media, while supporting overall brand development.
Responsibilities:
Email Campaign Development & Execution: • Plan, create, and execute email marketing campaigns, ensuring alignment with N.Peal’s brand voice and marketing objectives. • Write and design engaging emails, focusing on personalisation and audience segmentation to increase open and click-through rates. • Utilise A/B testing to refine content, subject lines, and other campaign elements to drive higher engagement and conversion.
CRM Management & Customer Segmentation: • Manage and maintain the CRM database, ensuring data integrity and segmentation for targeted campaigns. • Analyse customer behaviour, preferences, and purchase history to develop personalised communication strategies that increase loyalty and customer retention. • Create and manage automated email workflows, including welcome series, re-engagement campaigns, and transactional emails.
Performance Analysis & Reporting: • Track and report on the performance of email marketing and CRM campaigns, measuring key metrics such as open rates, CTR, and conversion. • Use data-driven insights to optimise future campaigns, making recommendations for improvements based on detailed analysis. • Collaborate with the digital team to align email marketing efforts with broader e-commerce and digital marketing strategies.
Cross-functional Collaboration: • Work closely with content creators, designers, and the broader marketing team to ensure emails are visually compelling and on-brand. • Support the social media team and other departments by aligning email content with social, website, and in-store initiatives. • Assist in the integration of CRM with other platforms and tools used within the digital marketing ecosystem.
Requirements: • 3-5 years of experience in email marketing/CRM, ideally within retail, luxury, or fashion sectors. • Strong proficiency with email marketing platforms and CRM tools. • Experience in writing, editing, and designing email campaigns with a focus on personalisation. • Excellent analytical skills with experience in campaign performance tracking, reporting, and A/B testing. • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. • Strong written communication skills, including copywriting and proofreading. • Flexibility to travel to our London office and stores, alongside working from our Skipton head office.
Location: The N.Peal head office is located at the Broughton Hall Estate, near Skipton, North Yorkshire. This role will require occasional travel to London.
