Join the Home of Fresh Pasta!
Vapiano is a global brand, known for its fresh pasta and vibrant, diverse community. We’re on the lookout for a talented Freelance Social Media Manager to elevate our UK channels.
Do you live and breathe social media? Are you the kind of person who's not afraid to bring a bit of sass to Twitter and always has a finger on the pulse of trending, reactive content?
If this sounds like you, we want to hear from you! We’re looking for a social media mastermind who can engage our loyal community while attracting new audiences as the brand evolves. With a strong presence built over the years, it's crucial that we keep our followers connected and excited as we continue to grow.
You’ll keep an eye on industry trends and ensure regular analysis and reporting across all channels. Your role will involve executing the overarching Social & Influencer Strategy, ensuring the UK stays ahead globally (yes, that’s 31 other countries!).
Ideally based in London, with occasional travel for content creation.
What the role entails
- Content Creation/Editing; Creating on brand and trending content for our social channels – Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and Twitter. A mix of video, stills, all editing down to ensure maximum engagement and reach.
- Copy Writing: From spur of the moment twitter responses, to raising brand awareness through storytelling to a gen z audience or selling our latest specials, you must be able to adapt your copy across all channels.
- Reporting, Measuring and Analysis: Keep a close eye on what’s working and what’s not, this will include reporting updating stats weekly, followed by a bigger monthly report.
- Content Calendar: Organisation is key, you’ll plan out content, and schedule ahead of time. Understanding that reactive content can be added in throughout the month
- Community Management: Engage with our followers, respond to comments, and foster a sense of community across all channels.
- Influencer Management: This will be on an adhoc basis, sourcing and managing influencer visits when required.
Experience
Ideally, you’ll have 2 - 3 years’ experience within the restaurant industry, managing social channels and growing brands. You’ll be confident in interacting with restaurant teams to get them involved in content creation.
This role will require roughly 8 days per month (give or take), predominantly based remotely aside from content days in restaurant.
