Bumble Inc. is seeking an experienced Data Analyst to work with our Growth Product Marketing and CRM stakeholders, take an integrated ecosystem approach and support critical business decisions across all our apps.
This is a unique opportunity for an experienced analyst who enjoys the fast-paced environment of a growing company and has a passion to contribute to helping the Bumble Inc. mission to foster kind connections. You would ideally have an extensive background in product and CRM analytics at an app-based tech company, with proven experience in experimentation, AB testing and causal inference.
What you'll do:- You will act as a thought partner to the CRM/Growth Product Marketing team and provide them with training, guidance and support on experimentation, measurement and results interpretation
- You will consistently push for best practices and influence the cross-functional team to drive better decisions informed by data
- You will deliver analytical roadmaps to support the longer-term vision of Growth Product Marketing within the business. This includes reporting, handling of ad-hoc requests and data visibility, experimentation, and ongoing measurement of CRM campaigns
- You will analyse customer data with respect to CRM campaigns (including push notifications, promo cards, and other in-app communication) and identify opportunities for improvement in customer engagement and retention strategies
- You will contribute to enhancing data and reporting capabilities as it relates to the Growth Product Marketing domain, proactively working with CRM Product Managers, Engineering and other teams
- You will build and manage self-serve data products, a knowledge base of insights, and provide direct support, to empower others to fully understand the value of data in their day-to-day work
About you:- Preference for a graduate degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Information Sciences, Economics, Finance, or STEM. PhD and Masters welcome
- 3+ years of experience in data science and analytics preferably in Product and CRM domains with expertise in experimentation, AB testing and causal inference
- Proven commercial experience serving as a thought partner to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Preference for experience working in similar dating/social/gaming tech product industries or else app-based product, being able to elaborate on the business impact you have driven in your previous experience
- You have experience working with complex data infrastructures and partnering with data engineering to help facilitate ingestion, warehousing, and optimisation of databases
- Strong experience with SQL and Python, Looker or a similar visualisation platform. Familiarity with DBT is a plus
- You keep an eye out on the industry, understanding how the wider dating industry influences our business strategies
