The Digital Marketing Apprentice (PPC/SEO) is responsible for learning and assisting in the digital marketing activity that seeks to target, inspire, and acquire new customers via Search. They utilise research, insight, analysis of channels, instruction, and competitors to plan and execute activity with the aim of increasing brand awareness and sales for multiple brands.
The main areas of responsibility are:
- Assist the Digital Marketing Manager (PPC/SEO) in delivering activity and monitoring performance in Search.
- Be an active member of digital marketing discussions across the team.
- Work alongside internal stakeholders in order to engage and drive results.
- Complete the Digital Marketing Apprenticeship standards to achieve the Apprenticeship Qualification
Key responsibilities
- Work with internal stakeholders and marketing agencies to plan, organise and launch campaign related assets to agreed timescales that seek to engage and convert users to customers.
- Work with internal stakeholders and marketing agencies to analyse performance and offer suggestions to improve activity.
- Work directly with the Digital Marketing Manager (PPC/SEO) to efficiently run activity to increase acquisition.
- Producing regular reports, dashboards, and presentations.
General duties
- The Digital Marketing Apprentice is responsible for other such duties as specified by the Management team and Directors to enable the Company to fulfil its orders and obligations.
- Adherence to Company Rules and Regulations, including Health and Safety, as outlined on the Company intranet and Health & Safety Manual.
- Maintaining the confidentiality of all knowledge and information appertaining to the Company, its customers’ and its employees.
Entry requirements
A GCSE in Maths and English at Grade 4/C or above is essential
Training to be provided
You will be completing Level 3 Multi-Channel Marketer Apprentice
(N.B. Formally Digital Marketer Level 3. As of Dec 2023, Digital Marketer has been updated to Multi-Channel Marketer. This new standard expands on the curriculum and provides learning on all aspects of marketing instead of solely focusing on digital marketing.)
As a Multi-Channel Marketer Apprentice, you help with planning, creating and implementing, impactful marketing campaigns across digital platforms. As part of the Marketing team, the multi-channel marketers will contribute to the implementation of the Marketing strategy and plans. They will be responsible for delivering day-to-day marketing activities across a multitude of platforms, channels and systems that are essential to the Marketing function and activities of the company.

For the Multi-Channel Marketer apprenticeship, there is an end point assessment. This is done in the final part of the apprenticeship and is how the apprentice is judged on their learning and will include:
- Producing a written Report
- Portfolio of evidence based work
- Presentation and Q&A
- Professional Discussion based on Portfolio

Things to consider
Due to CEWE Ltd's headquarters being based in Germany, there is a possibility that the successful apprentice will travel here for work.
