As a PPC Executive in our Performance Marketing team, you'll take the reins in managing Google Ads and Microsoft Ads, primarily for our SME eCommerce clients. You will also focus on Performance Max and Merchant Centre tasks. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team within a larger agency (VML), where you'll also have the chance to work on campaigns for some of the world's biggest brands. There may be opportunities to dive into other digital channels like Paid Social and Programmatic. Experience in these areas is a plus but not a must.
- Google Ads Management: Confidently manage and optimise campaigns across Google Ads, using a variety of campaign types such as Search, Performance Max, and Video. Align campaigns with client objectives and deliver measurable growth.
- Strategy: Craft and implement comprehensive PPC strategies tailored to each client's needs. This includes audience targeting, budget optimisation, and refining campaigns for maximum ROI. Regular performance tracking and A/B testing will help you drive continuous improvement.
- Google Merchant Center Management: Take charge of Google Merchant Center, from creating and optimising product feeds, to troubleshooting and fixing issues. Experience with Local Inventory Feeds is a plus!
- Client Interaction: Team up with account managers to manage client expectations, participate in client calls, and share performance insights. You'll be the go-to for explaining complex data in a way that's clear and actionable.
- Performance Analysis: Dive into campaign performance data to uncover actionable insights. Use these to fine-tune strategies and improve key metrics like COS (Cost of Sale), ROAS (Return on Ad Spend), and CPA (Cost Per Acquisition).
- Industry Knowledge: Stay ahead of the curve by keeping up with the latest in digital marketing trends and PPC platform updates. We love to see new strategies and tools brought into our campaigns!
- Collaboration: Many of our clients are signed up for multiple services. Work hand-in-hand with cross-functional teams to ensure we're always hitting the mark with our clients' needs and overall marketing strategies.
- Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within an agency or a hands-on client-side position.
- Proven success in managing and setting up Google Ads campaigns with a focus on driving revenue and hitting KPIs like COS, ROAS, and CPA.
- Extensive experience with Google Merchant Center, including feed management and optimising product data for Shopping campaigns.
- Able to solve issues with Google Ads and GA4 tracking, knowledge and application of Google Consent Mode.
- Strong interest in Performance Marketing and the different channels this covers.
- Excellent communication skills – you'll be able to make complex concepts easy for anyone to understand. You'll enjoy working directly with clients and have confidence presenting work on client calls.
- A strong analytical mindset – you're good at turning data into insights.
- The ability to work independently and take the initiative is valued. Asking for help when you have tried and tested is welcome!
- A passion for staying updated with industry trends and a willingness to share your knowledge.
- Experience in other areas like Social Media, Programmatic Advertising, or Amazon Advertising.
- Ability to create Google Ads scripts
- Experience with Google Tag Manager implementation and maintenance
- Experience working with clients using Shopify and Woocommerce
- Certifications in Google Ads or related platforms are highly valued.
