We are looking for an Email Marketing Manager to join our Marketing team.
Title: Email Marketing Manager
Salary: £40,000 - £42,000 per annum
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 35 per week (standard Anthony Nolan working hours)
Location: Hybrid, with 40% of time over a month in head office in Hampstead, London
The Email Marketing Manager leads Anthony Nolan’s email marketing as part of the Digital team. Working with multiple teams and stakeholders the Email Marketing Manager plans, creates and optimises emails and journeys, and is responsible for growing subscriber lists and engagement.
Overview of responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a roadmap for email/SMS channel and journey improvements.
- Deliver through collaborative working and influencing.
- Work with marketing and content leads and subject matter experts to plan emails/SMS comms and journeys.
- Line-manage the Email Marketing Executive to deliver planning, building, testing, and deployment of email marketing campaigns.
- Ensure all email and SMS comms are aligned with our brand values and guidelines.
- Share insights and recommendations for email and SMS subscriber list growth and increased engagement.
- Build and maintain automated comms journeys in DotDigital and optimise existing journeys.
- Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for email, providing best practice guidance.
Essential attributes:
- Experience in Email Marketing, Lifecycle Marketing, and user journey development.
- Success at driving performance and engagement across various stages of the supporter lifecycle.
- Significant experience using marketing/email automation platforms, such as DotDigital, Hubspot, or Adestra.
- Experience of developing and adhering to messaging frameworks and guidelines.
- Experience working with data and tech teams, understanding links between customer databases and comms software.
- Analytical skills and the ability to translate complex information into insights and recommendations.
- Strong people management skills – being able to support and help develop skills of line report.
- Effective project management skills and the ability to work at pace, across multiple projects with different stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
