Overview
We are seeking a motivated and creative Social Media assisstant to join our dynamic team. This job offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in public relations and social media management while contributing to our brand's online presence. The ideal candidate will be passionate about social media trends, possess strong communication skills, and be eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Assist in the development and implementation of social media strategies across various platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok.
- Create engaging content tailored to our audience, including graphics, videos, interviews, and written posts.
- Monitor social media channels for trends, comments, and messages; respond appropriately to engage with our community.
- Conduct research on industry-related topics to inform content creation and enhance brand visibility.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to support campaigns and initiatives that align with our overall goals.
- Analyse social media metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns and provide insights for improvement.
- Support public relations efforts by drafting press releases and assisting with event promotion through social channels.
Qualifications
- Strong interest in social media management and public relations; previous experience or coursework in these areas is advantageous.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and their respective best practices.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a collaborative environment.
- Basic knowledge of graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus but not essential.
- A proactive attitude towards learning new skills and adapting to changing priorities.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 5 – 10 per week
