Job Title: Social Media Executive
Company: Personal Brand Agency
Location: West Bridgford, Nottingham (Full Time & Onsite Role)
About Us:
We’re a fast-growing personal branding and digital marketing startup that’s going from zero to one fast. With three core areas of focus (a personal branding agency, a supporting software product, and our To The Heart Of It (TTHOI) podcast), we’re on the brink of explosive growth. Think of this as your “Day 1” opportunity to join a small but mighty team, shape how we connect with audiences, and grow along with us.
Role Overview:
As our Social Media Executive, you won’t just be churning out posts, you'll be shaping the entire voice and presence of our clients across multiple platforms. From LinkedIn thought leadership pieces and Instagram Reels to TikTok trends and Facebook engagement strategies, you’ll have the freedom to experiment, create, and iterate. We’re not just looking for someone to “do social.” We want you to own it, innovate, and help build something remarkable from the ground up.
If you’re excited by the blank slate, the chance to influence big decisions, and the rush of startup life, this is your moment.
Key Responsibilities:
ON-SITE ONLY
- Content Creation & Curation: Develop compelling, on-brand social media content (text, images, short-form video) that drives engagement and tells a story.
- Platform Management: Own the entire social media ecosystem across LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and any emerging platforms you think we should try.
- Growth Strategies: Experiment with audience-building strategies—hashtags, influencer collaborations, platform features, and content formats—to increase reach and impact.
- Analytics & Optimisation: Track key metrics to understand what’s working and what’s not, then fine-tune your approach accordingly.
- Brand Voice & Consistency: Ensure all content aligns with our clients’ brand narratives and personal branding goals, bringing authenticity and creativity to every post.
- Community Engagement: Build genuine connections. Respond to comments, foster conversations, and engage with followers to create a loyal audience base.
- Content Calendar Planning: Plan ahead while staying nimble. Manage content calendars, adapt to real-time events, and keep the pipeline full of fresh ideas.
- Professional Photography: Understanding photography composition, angles, lighting and technical knowledge of relevant equipment.
- Adobe Creative Cloud Software: Must have a keen understanding of Adobe Creative Cloud for photography editing (Adobe lightroom preferred) and content creation editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro.
Qualifications:
- Agency or Startup Experience a Plus: You’ve worked in a fast-paced environment where you had to think on your feet and juggle multiple campaigns.
- Creative Storyteller: You know how to craft narratives that resonate, no matter the platform. A witty caption, a powerful micro-video, or a visually striking carousel it’s all in your toolkit.
- Platform-Savvy: You understand the nuances of LinkedIn’s professional tone, Instagram’s visual storytelling, TikTok’s bite-sized authenticity, and Facebook’s community-driven features.
- Data-Informed: You don’t just guess you use analytics to guide decisions, continually improving content based on real insights.
- Adaptable & Entrepreneurial: In a “Day 1” environment, plans can shift. You’re comfortable iterating, pivoting, and moving quickly to seize new opportunities.
- Strong Communication Skills: Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling abilities are a must. Clarity, warmth, and authenticity define your content and interactions.
What We Offer:
- Day 1 Autonomy: You’re joining early enough to help shape processes, voice, and strategy. Your fingerprints will be all over our success stories.
- Grow With Us: As we scale, so will your role, responsibilities, and career trajectory.
- Creative Freedom: No “this is how we’ve always done it” limitations here. Bring your ideas, and let’s try them out.
- Impact & Visibility: Your work will directly influence our clients’ personal brand success and our overall market presence.
- Collaborative Culture: Join a small, driven team where ideas are welcomed, and everyone contributes to the bigger picture.
How to Apply:Send us your CV, a brief cover letter, and examples of social media work you’ve created that you’re proud of campaigns, posts, short videos, or brand feeds you’ve managed. Show us how you think, create, and innovate.
This isn’t just another social media job. This is the chance to get in on Day 1, help craft a brand’s identity from scratch, and build something extraordinary with a team that’s ready to break the mold. If you’re excited by the unknown, the creative challenge, and the potential for exponential growth, let’s talk!
