LightMedia Communications Limited is seeking a part time web master to join our dynamic team in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire.
This entry level position would be ideal for an individual with a passion for creating exceptional web content. You will be an integral part of our talented team, contributing to the population of client web sites.
Joining LightMedia Communications Limited means being part of a professional working environment where your contributions are valued. LightMedia has recently moved to an Employee Ownership Trust (EOT) model (similar to that of John Lewis), where the business is owned by and run for the benefit of our employees, you would after a 6-month qualifying period have a share of the company profits.
As an ambitious and growing company with a full order book, we are looking for people who want to apply their written communication skills and develop their career in a professional working environment with a close team-spirit. The consistent high quality of our work has ensured a steady stream of referrals to grow the business.
Responsibilities
Your role would be to help audit and then populate new and existing client websites, members portals and CRM applications. You would be working from provided visual designs for guidance within a pre-constructed site structure using our Content Management System. Coding experience is not essential but any prior experience would be a benefit. You will need to use your skills and initiative to craft a solution that is aesthetically pleasing, functions well and is consistent with the rest of the site.
We have a hybrid working model, where the team work from our Leamington Spa offices on Tuesdays and Thursdays and remotely the rest of the time. This lets us provide the benefits of home-working while also giving our newer employees a chance to observe and work side-by-side with our seniors. As this is a part-time position, our expectation is that you will work 3 days a week with a minimum of one day in the office per week.
The role has the capacity to grow over time into a full time position or become more technical if your aspirations are to get more involved in site development.
To be successful in this role you will need the following skills:
- An Awareness of Good Aesthetic Design
- Good Written Communication Skills
- An Eye For Detail With A Systematic Approach To Your Work
- Experience with Using a Content Management System (although not essential would be beneficial)
- A Keen Interest in Web Technologies
- A Basic Understanding of How Web Technology Works
The position has lots of career and personal development potential and benefits from flexible working conditions, a competitive salary and as part of an EOT a share in the company profits.

- We are also not offering visa sponsorship, so unfortunately we can only accept applications from candidates with a permanent (not visa dependent) right to work in the UK.
