General Summary:
Precision Talent Solutions is assisting one of the largest tribally owned federal contracting companies seeking a dynamic Chief Growth Officer (CGO) to support aggressive growth objectives within a growing business line. Our client helps solve issues in national security and intelligence, information technology, health solutions, DoD logistics and humanitarian relief. The CGO is the driving force behind the strategy and execution of winning new contracts across a broad spectrum of Federal Agencies. This position is entrusted with the responsibility of shaping and executing the company’s overall business plan to align with the company’s corporate strategy across all its business lines.
Responsibilities:
- Develop high-quality growth strategies and ensure they are aligned with the overarching business objectives.
- Develop targeted approach around growth and customer base.
- Identify acquisition targets and lead efforts around right targets for the gaps in current offering.
- Identify new market opportunities through various channels such as networking events, industry conferences, and client referrals, and lead efforts to enter new markets.
- Routinely engages with current partners and is well networked so as to bring additional partnering companies to the forefront.
- Drive Business Development, Capture, Proposals, Marketing functions to meet set KPIs.
- Measure performance against financial targets and non-financial objectives and implement corrective actions as required.
- Develop and execute strategies to increase profitability, including client retention, upselling, and identifying cross-selling opportunities.
- Identify strategic risks and help to reduce these risks in balance with the company’s growth.
- Leverage data-driven insights to optimize marketing, sales, and operational processes for enhanced growth and efficiency.
- Drive innovation across the organization to ensure long-term growth and competitiveness.
- Build and manage high-performing teams to drive growth across the organization.
- Serve as a head business lead with key strategic partners.
Qualifications:
- 20+ years of experience supporting federal customers through business development or operations with 10+ years leading business development and capture for large organizations of similar size and scale ($2-5B).
- A track record of capturing large opportunities in the full & open market, as well as direct award sole source contracts.
- Experience developing a pipeline of new opportunities within the Federal market, specifically focused on contracts valued at $100M or more.
- Have an established network in Federal agencies to actively meet with potential clients and identify new business opportunities.
- Bachelor's degree in related field required. A Master’s Degree or higher is strongly preferred.
- Experience in the Technology and Consulting functional areas strongly preferred.
- Experience in managing and contributing to winning proposal content.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% of the time to support business development efforts.
