Role Overview
We are seeking a passionate and creative Social Media Manager and Content Creator to elevate Jouissance Parfums' digital presence. You will be responsible for curating, creating, and managing engaging content that reflects our brand ethos while driving growth and engagement across all social media platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation
- Produce high-quality, visually stunning content, including images, videos, reels, and copy for Instagram (experiences with TikTok is a plus).
- Collaborate with the founder and design team to ensure brand consistency across all visuals and messaging.
- Create and manage a content calendar, ensuring timely delivery of posts for campaigns, launches, and events.
Community Engagement
- Actively engage with our online community by responding to comments, DMs, and mentions in a timely and brand-aligned manner.
- Monitor and nurture relationships with customers, fans, and followers to foster brand loyalty.
Qualifications
Required
- Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role, preferably in luxury, beauty, or lifestyle industries.
- Exceptional content creation skills, including photography, videography, and graphic design (knowledge of tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar).
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices.
- Excellent copywriting skills with a creative and literary flair.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and optimize performance.
Preferred
- A deep passion for art, literature, and fragrance, with a strong appreciation for the intersection of storytelling and visual culture.
- Currently pursuing or holding a degree in fields such as Literature, Literary Theory, Art History, Contemporary Art Theory, Visual Culture, Luxury Studies, Photography, or Film Theories.
- Educational background from any of the following institutions: UAL, Goldsmiths, or Sotheby’s Institute of Art.
- Proven experience with influencer collaborations and creating or managing User-Generated Content (UGC).
- Familiarity with SEO strategies and current digital marketing trends to enhance content visibility and engagement.
