E-Commerce Merchandising / Social Media Assistant (Part-Time, working from home - hybrid arrangement)

We have an opportunity for an E-Commerce Merchandising/Social Media Assistant to join our friendly team.
We are looking for someone with an enthusiastic and positive attitude with a proactive approach who isn’t fazed by change or a fast paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing social media platforms - Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, and Tik-Tok
- Managing social media advertising
- Writing blog posts
- Merchandising and expanding our range on website and marketplaces
- Updating copy, content, images and product descriptions for our ecommerce platforms
- Conducting regular competitor research
- Sales report analysis to help with product pricing and commercial decision making
- You may also be asked to provide general administrative support to the marketing and merchandising team
Applicants should have:
- A creative and administrative background, with good keyboard skills
- Knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft applications
- Ability to analyse analytical and numerical data to ensure correct profit margins are met and in-line with our competitors
- Experience using social media scheduling software and Canva is desired
- Good attention to detail with the ability to work as part of a team as well as on your own
- The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate attention to detail, creativity, and the ability to create engaging content.
This position offers the opportunity to work full time in our office (in Maidenhead) or for some days to be worked from home (hybrid working arrangement).
Hours of Work - the hours and days of work are open for discussion, however a minimum of 21 - 25 hours will be required per week
Job Types: Part Time, Permanent
Salary: FTE £22,500.00 per year (will be pro rata for part time hours @ £12.36 per hour)
