Position Overview:
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join The Property Franchise Group as a full-time Head of Managed Marketing.
Reporting to the Marketing Director the role is a cross-brand marketing role covering all TPFG brands. Ultimately responsible for a Managed Marketing team, the Head of Managed Marketing will be responsible for that department’s own Profit and Loss. The managed marketing service has significant revenue generating opportunities for the business as a whole. Delivering a positive impact on Group income via managed marketing income, the activities of the Managed Marketing Team will also drive improved sales performance from the franchise network.
Whilst always maintaining brand integrity, the role will ensure the successful execution of individual brand and branch initiatives. These initiatives may include all core marketing activities, for example creation of collateral, content and digital marketing. All such activity to be fully costed, timebound and income generating. Equally the managed marketing initiatives will be designed to drive franchise growth.
1. Brand Management:
· Ensure all managed marketing collateral is branded and ensure consistent brand management for all TPFG brands across all media types, guiding internal and external adherence to brand guidelines.
· Through others, measure brand compliance through regular audits and strive for a high compliance rate.
2. Business Development and Growth:
· Develop then execute an Annual Business Plan and monitor on a regular basis for achievement.
· Develop and implement strategies for franchise network penetration to drive revenue growth.
· Through the Operations Team, network within the franchise network to drive customer base, for example attendance at RBM’s webinars etc as appropriate.
· Implement operational best practices to optimise processes and productivity.
· Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement.
3. Financial Management:
· Manage financial performance and budgetary planning to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
· Achieve all set targets, creating, managing and communicating MI on a monthly basis to appropriate stakeholders.
· Ensure all proposed marketing requests are fully costed.
· Monitor key financial metrics for success and implement corrective actions where required.
· Drive cost optimisation initiatives without compromising on quality or customer satisfaction.
4. Team Management and Leadership:
· Provide strategic direction to your team fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
· Lead by example, instilling a sense of ownership and accountability in team members, driving them towards achieving ambitious goals.
· Continuously evaluate team performance, identifying strengths and areas for development
· Manage staffing to budget and monitor productivity of staff and staffing levels.
· Any ad hoc duties as required by senior management
5. Communication and Collaboration
· Communicate through self and team, the managed marketing opportunities to ensure all departments are aware as required and ensure excellence of execution throughout all brands.
· Ensure regular updates of marketing initiatives and gather network feedback.
· Reporting monthly to management on achievements ad results to date

· Demonstrated ability to develop and execute innovative marketing strategies
· Proven track record of effectively leading and inspiring teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
· Strong understanding of brand and management principles, ensuring consistent brand representation across diverse channels.
· Sound financial management skills, including budget planning, monitoring, and optimisation, to maximise ROI and resource allocation.
· Experience in digital marketing strategies (SEO, SEM, social media), enhancing brand visibility and engagement in the digital landscape.
· Excellent communication skills, articulating ideas clearly to diverse stakeholders, including senior management, franchisees, and external partners.
7. Education and Qualifications
Overall, a combination of formal education, professional certifications, and substantial experience in marketing is typically expected for a Head of Managed Marketing position which should include:
· Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) Certification: Demonstrates expertise and commitment to professional development.
· Professional Experience: Extensive senior-level marketing experience, preferably in relevant industries.
· Continuing Professional Development (CPD): Demonstrates commitment to ongoing learning and skill development.
Hours of work:
09:00 until 17:30 Monday to Thursday
09:00 until 17:00 Friday
Salary/Package:
- Up to £35,000 with OTE (Circa £7,000) per annum
- 23 days holiday rising with length of service plus bank holidays and Birthday Leave
- A whole host of benefits as length of service increases such as private medical insurance and buy/sell holiday
