Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced, confident and inspiring Head of Ecommerce and Marketing to join Motohaus. In your role you will report to the Managing Director, you’ll manage and develop a two-person marketing team and work closely with all areas of the business.
You will own all aspects of the Ecommerce function and have wide ranging autonomy to lead the ecommerce and marketing strategy in your own direction. You’ve done this before, a few times, and have learnt lots of the lessons on the way.
Duties and Responsibilities
E-commerce
- Financial ownership: Full P&L responsibility including forecasting across digital income and expenditure channels.
- Planning and OKR’s: Build a robust plan that is easily understood by your team, that provides stretch and ambition. These plans should include OKR’s across the relevant areas (CAC, ROAS, LTV etc.)
- Strategic Ownership: Develop and execute the e-commerce strategy to grow sales across our 9 websites, plus eBay and Amazon marketplaces.
- Performance Analysis: Use data-driven insights to monitor and improve conversion rates, AOV, and overall performance metrics.
- Inventory Coordination: Collaborate with purchasing and operations teams to align product availability with sales campaigns and projections.
- Digital Advertising: Work with internal team to manage PPC campaigns across Google, Meta, and other platforms.
Marketing
- Strategic Leadership: Design and oversee the implementation of a comprehensive marketing strategy across digital, print, and in-person events.
- Brand Development: Strengthen brand identity and ensure consistency across all touchpoints.
- Campaign Management: Lead integrated campaigns, including newsletters, social media, influencers, and retargeting efforts.
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a two-person team, enabling them to deliver high-quality work and develop professionally.
- Partnerships: Work with international brands, such as SW Motech, Keis, Nexx, Bruhl Dryers and more to develop joint marketing initiatives.
Experience:
Required
- Experience in a Head Of / Director role with a proven track record of delivering significant revenue growth.
- Strong commercial acumen with P&L and budget management experience.
- Highly numerate and analytical with a systematic approach to testing.
- Knowledge and first-hand experience of Shopify.

- Strong digital marketing experience, including SEO, PPC, social media, and email marketing.
- Able to lead and inspire a team with passion, energy and confidence.
- Excellent team player, calm under pressure, sociable with sound interpersonal skills.
Desirable
- Passion for motorcycles or automotive industries.
- Experience working with international brands and managing co-marketing campaigns.
