Specialising in the dynamic realms of life insurance and finance, our ideal candidate boasts a proven track record of steering YouTube ad campaigns to scale, adeptly managing budgets north of £150,000 per month, per ad account, while expertly homing in on cost-per-lead (CPL) targets.

Paid Search (YouTube) Media Buyer Key Responsibilities:
- Paid Search Strategy: Develop and execute a targeted paid search marketing strategy across Google and Microsoft platforms, focusing on CPL objectives. Specialise in crafting high-performing campaigns in the Life Insurance space that leverage the unique capabilities of each platform to meet and exceed CPL performance targets.
- Campaign Management and Optimisation: Create, manage, and optimise paid search campaigns, including keyword selection, bid management, ad copywriting, and performance analysis. Implement best practices for YouTube ads to engage audiences effectively and drive conversions.
- Performance Analysis and Reporting: Utilise GA4 and platform-specific tools to monitor campaign performance rigorously. Conduct A/B testing and continuous optimisation to improve ROI. Provide detailed performance reports and actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Budget Allocation and Management: Manage budgets meticulously to ensure optimal allocation across campaigns and platforms. Adjust strategies based on performance data to maximise efficiency and return on investment.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with internal teams to ensure campaign alignment with broader marketing objectives. Maintain clear and proactive communication with clients, offering strategic insights and updates on campaign progress.
- Innovation and Continuous Learning: Stay updated on the latest trends, tools, and best practices for Google and Microsoft advertising, including advancements in YouTube advertising. Proactively seek out innovative strategies and technologies to enhance campaign performance.
Experience & Required Skills for Paid Search (YouTube) Media Buyer:
- Proficiency in Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising, and YouTube advertising, with a strong understanding of their respective analytics and optimisation tools.
- Demonstrated experience in managing paid search campaigns with a focus on CPA/CPL metrics, specifically within the Google and Microsoft ecosystems.
- Strong analytical skills, with expertise in performance metrics analysis and the use of Google Analytics 4 for detailed reporting and insights.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate campaign strategies, performance insights, and recommendations clearly to both internal teams and clients.
- A detail-oriented approach with an emphasis on accuracy and efficiency in campaign management and reporting.
- Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt strategies based on performance data and market trends.
- A collaborative spirit, capable of working effectively across different teams and with clients to achieve shared goals.
The Candidate:-
- An experienced Performance Marketer that that knows how to optimise campaigns in real time to maximise volume and CPL, that can get into the mindset of customer to increase conversion rates and reduce CPL by hyper targeting ads.
- Hands on lead generation, performance marketing and / or e-commerce campaign experience
- Excellent analytical skills, problem solving and a curiosity to dig deeper into numbers and ask why.
- Strong technical platform experience across Google Ads and GA4
- A solid understanding of data and the ability to turn data into actionable insights
- The ability to learn new tools and software quickly and independently
- Great communication and presentation skills
- Positive energy and a willing attitude to work within a small, agile agency team
- Total self-starter that can work to targets semi autonomously.
