Purpose of Role:
We are looking for a creative and experienced individual with a strong understanding of Social Media management and modern marketing methods. This role will focus on supporting the development of several campaigns across different areas, all aligned with our group of related businesses.
The ideal candidate will also have a solid grasp of marketing funnels, enabling them to design and optimise customer journeys that effectively convert leads into loyal clients.
Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for tracking, analysing, and interpreting incoming metrics to assess campaign success, identify areas for improvement, and suggest actionable strategies.
A strong understanding of paid advertising is important to ensure that the company
a. invests wisely in ads that deliver results, and
b. works with potential customers who may want to advertise on our pages
The candidate should be skilled in creating targeted ad campaigns that maximise returns on investments & minimise wasted expenditure.
Graphic design skills are also important. The candidate will need to create visually appealing content for social media platforms and other marketing opportunities. Proficiency in design tools (such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite and others) will enable the successful candidate to produce eye-catching graphics and multimedia content that captures attention and communicates our brands effectively.
Highly organised and adept at handling data, this individual will help the businesses make timely, informed decisions to stay ahead of market trends. Their insights will be crucial in ensuring we maintain a strong & dynamic presence in the industries and markets where we aim to lead.
Key Responsibilities:
- Social Media Management: Plan, create, and schedule engaging content across our web pages and all social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.).
- Content Creation: Develop high-quality visual and written content that aligns with our brand voice(s) and engages our target audience(s).
- Community Engagement: Respond to comments, messages, and interact with followers to build a strong community and improve brand loyalty.
- Campaign Support: Assist in the execution of marketing campaigns, promotions, and events both online and offline.
- Analytics & Reporting: Track, analyse, and report on the performance of social media posts and campaigns, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Email Marketing: Help create and distribute email newsletters, ensuring they are visually appealing and effective.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team and other departments to support all initiatives and ensure consistency across all channels.
Qualifications/Experience:
- Experience in social media management and content creation.
- Proficient in graphic design tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite etc.
- Strong copywriting skills with attention to detail.
- Familiarity with social media analytics and reporting tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Instagram Insights, etc.).
- Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and work independently as well as in a team.
- Knowledge of digital marketing trends and best practices.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with paid social media advertising (Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads).
- Knowledge of SEO and web analytics tools.
- Experience with email marketing platforms (e.g., Campaigner).
