Now Self Storage operates 16 locations across the UK, serving over 3,000 customers. We provide high-quality self-storage solutions for both individuals and businesses. As a growing company, we are seeking a Digital Marketing Manager to take ownership of our marketing strategy, directly manage paid search campaigns, drive SEO performance, and optimise the functionality of our HubSpot CRM and broader tech stack to deliver measurable results.
This role offers hybrid working, with three days a week at our Ross-on-Wye headquarters and the flexibility to work remotely for the remainder of the week.
Role Overview
The Digital Marketing Manager will take ownership of our marketing strategy, focusing on optimising campaigns, leveraging data, and driving performance. Reporting directly to the Director, you will lead the strategic direction of our digital marketing efforts, working hands-on with tools like HubSpot CRM and other technologies to improve lead generation, campaign performance, and customer engagement. A successful candidate will need experience in creating and managing search campaigns, driving SEO through creating backlinks and be confident in maintaining Google Business Profiles.
A key aspect of this role will be analysing market trends and competitors to ensure we stay ahead in our industry while optimising our marketing operations and ensuring strong ROI.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute a comprehensive digital marketing strategy to achieve business growth goals.
- Conduct in-depth competitor research and market analysis to identify opportunities and inform strategic decisions.
- Enhance the performance of our marketing technology stack, with a focus on HubSpot CRM, lead generation, and customer retention.
Campaign Management
- Lead on planning, executing, and optimising PPC campaigns (Google Ads, Bing Ads, social media) to drive traffic, generate leads, and maximise ROI.
- Oversee and refine SEO strategies to boost organic website traffic and improve rankings.
- Collaborate with the sales team to align marketing efforts with business goals, ensuring lead quality and conversion.
Data-Driven Marketing
- Track, analyse, and report on campaign performance using tools such as HubSpot, Google Analytics, and other platforms.
- Use insights to refine marketing strategies, improve campaign performance, and enhance customer engagement.
Content and Channel Development
- Lead the creation of compelling content for digital and traditional channels, including blogs, social posts, email marketing, and print campaigns.
- Manage and optimise email marketing campaigns with a focus on segmentation, automation, and retention strategies.
Budget and Resource Management
- Manage the marketing budget, ensuring cost-effective campaigns and demonstrating ROI.
- Collaborate with external suppliers as needed, while owning in-house execution of campaigns.
Hybrid Working
- Three days a week in our Ross-on-Wye office, with the flexibility to work remotely for the remainder of the week.
Key Skills and Qualifications
- Proven experience (4+ years) in digital marketing with a focus on strategy, campaign management, and CRM optimisation.
- Hands-on expertise with tools such as HubSpot CRM, Google Ads, and Google Analytics.
- Strong understanding of marketing technology stacks and how to optimise their performance.
- Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to turn data into actionable insights and strategies.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to produce high-quality content.
- Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Demonstrated experience in achieving ROI from marketing efforts and managing budgets effectively.
