E-COMMERCE EXECUTIVE
Role type: Full time
Location: Head Office in Dartington (near Totnes); some home working is an option when meetings and deadlines allow
Core working hours: 9am-5pm, Monday to Friday; flexibility is required for travel
Role purpose:
We're looking for a dyanic E-Commerce Executive to drive the commercial success of our e-commerce website by delivering a seamless customer experience, optimising site performance and analytics, enhancing brand visibility and perception, pursuing customer acquisition and retention, and aligning with our broader digital marketing strategy.

It'll be your job to add value by:
Driving website sales performance:
- Maximising sales opportunities through the effective management of online merchandising, product placement, promotions and campaigns
- Continuously analysing website traffic, user and sales data to make informed recommendations and decisions on inventory, pricing and content to drive conversions
Overseeing e-commerce strategy execution:
- Developing and executing an e-commerce trading calendar in pursuit of our overall e-commerce strategy, to align with product launches, seasonal events and marketing campaigns
- Coordinating with colleagues in design, production, merchandising, the warehouse and fulfilment to optimise product availability and fulfilment efficiency
Optimising customer experience:
- Ensuring a seamless and engaging customer journey by overseeing website functionality, UX and design enhancements
- Implementing A/B testing and conversion enhancement initiatives to improve engagement and sales
Owning or collaborating on digital marketing campaigns:
- Working with our SEO agency to continually develop and advance on-site SEO to drive traffic
- Working closely with the digital marketing team to plan and implement PPC, CRM and social media campaigns that drive traffic, engagement and revenue
- Managing affiliate marketing to increase online visibility and customer acquisition.
Ensuring brand consistency and comfort-confidence messaging:
- Maintaining the website in line with our branding standards and guidelines, ensuring all content, visuals and messaging reflects our brand identity and key comfort-confidence principles
- Working closely with colleagues in creative and digital marketing to ensure product descriptions, imagery and promotional assets are on-brand and commercially optimised
Analysing and reporting performance:
- Using analytics tools to track key metrics such as traffic, site speed, conversion rate, AOV and customer retention
- Preparing regular reports (where possible, tying in with wider-business information sharing mechanisms) on website trading performance, website campaign ROI and market insights to inform decision making and future strategy
Looking to the future and gearing for growth:
- Keeping up to date with e-commerce and digital marketing trends, best practises and technologies to ensure that we remain competitive in the online space
- Researching, recommending and implementing new tools, platforms and strategies that enhance website functionality, customer experience or digital marketing efficiency.
