The Opportunity
We’re on the hunt for a passionate and innovative Digital Content Creator to help elevate the online presence of Appetite Me, our sister company, First Franchise and client projects. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to leave a lasting impact in the rural development sector. You will be responsible for crafting dynamic content strategies that engage audiences and build brand recognition, while also managing social media accounts for our clients during specific project periods. The role sits within the marketing and business development department and reports to the Commercial Director, although works closely with our Creative team.
This is a unique opportunity to work in a rapidly evolving sector, where you’ll not only drive engagement but also help shape the overall social media and content strategy for a variety of rural brands from garden centres, country estates, farm shops, wedding venues and visitor attractions. Key Responsibilities
- Develop & Implement Content Strategies: Craft comprehensive content marketing strategies that build brand awareness, increase engagement, and drive business growth across multiple digital platforms.
- Research & Trend Analysis: Dive deep into current trends, industry shifts, and emerging opportunities to enhance content performance and keep ahead of the curve.
- Social Media Management: Oversee the social media accounts for Appetite Me and our clients, ensuring consistent, high-quality communication that fosters engagement.
- Content Creation & Copywriting: Produce and edit a variety of content including blog posts, case studies, newsletters, website copy, and social media posts that are on-brand and impactful.
- Digital Campaigns & Creative Projects: Design and execute digital campaigns, from banners to interactive content, with a strong focus on creative visuals and user experience.
- Multimedia Content Development: Lead the creation of multimedia assets, including photography, video, reels, interviews, and infographics, designed to captivate and inspire audiences.
- Collaborative Campaigns: Collaborate closely with our creative team to develop and execute integrated advertising campaigns aimed at achieving specific objectives, such as increased website traffic or sales growth, and ensure brand alignment on all projects.
- Monitor & Optimise Content Performance: Use analytics and performance data to assess the success of content and make adjustments to improve outcomes, always staying in tune with audience needs.
- Content Audits & Updates: Conduct regular content audits to ensure that all content remains fresh, relevant, and aligned with the latest industry standards.
About You
We’re looking for someone who is not only skilled in content creation but also has an impeccable eye for detail, a knack for strategic thinking, and an ability to adapt content to fit specific business goals. You’ll have a proven ability to manage projects effectively and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to create world-class content. A passion for the rural sector and its potential is a must.
Requirements
- Education: A bachelor’s degree in marketing, creative media, or a related field.
- Experience: Proven experience in content creation with a strong portfolio that demonstrates creativity and strategic thinking.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro) or similar.
- Social Media Mastery: Strong understanding of all social media platforms, particularly LinkedIn, with a focus on driving business growth.
- Analytical Mindset: Experience in monitoring analytics and performance data, using insights to optimise content strategies.
- Exceptional Writing Skills: Excellent writing, proofreading, and editing abilities, with a sharp attention to detail and brand tone.
- Project Management: Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Creative Collaboration: A team player who enjoys brainstorming and leading creative sessions to generate innovative ideas.
- Adaptability: A resourceful approach to problem-solving, with the ability to deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.
