Company Overview: Grand Prix Racewear Ltd, based at Silverstone, is a leading retailer specializing in motorsport apparel, accessories, and equipment. We offer a wide range of high-quality products for professional and amateur racers alike, including race suits, helmets, gloves, and custom racewear. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Ecommerce Specialist to join our team and help manage our online sales channels.
Position Overview: Working within the Ecommerce team, the E-commerce Specialist will be responsible for the upkeep of all aspects of our online sales platforms, including eBay, Amazon, TikTok and our main website. This role requires a strong understanding of e-commerce platforms, digital marketing, product management, and customer service. The candidate will work closely with the sales team to ensure a smooth, efficient, and profitable online sales process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Management and Listing:
- Create, and optimize product listings on various online platforms such as eBay, Amazon, WooCommerce and TikTok Shop.
- Ensure product information (descriptions, prices, images, specifications) is accurate, up-to-date and aligned across all channels.
- Work with internal teams to ensure new product releases are promptly listed and featured online.
- Regularly manage stock availability and inventory listings.
- Platform Management:
- Manage and maintain our WooCommerce website, ensuring all product pages are optimized for user experience and SEO.
- Oversee the integration of the TikTok Shop with the website and other platforms to ensure seamless product listings and order management.
- Manage eBay and Amazon seller accounts, including order fulfilment, customer queries and product reviews.
- Digital Marketing and Sales Optimization:
- Develop and execute digital marketing strategies to increase traffic and sales on all platforms.
- Optimize listings using keywords, SEO best practices and promotional strategies like discounts and sales events.
- Analyse traffic and conversion data to continuously improve product positioning and online sales performance.
- Customer Service & Support:
- Respond to customer inquiries across all platforms in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with the customer service team to resolve order issues and product queries.
- Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Track, analyse and report on sales performance across all platforms.
- Use data analytics tools to monitor trends, customer behaviours and sales patterns to identify opportunities for growth.
- Platform Compliance and Best Practices:
- Ensure all listings adhere to platform-specific guidelines and policies (e.g., Amazon’s brand registry, eBay’s seller standards).
- Stay up to date with the latest developments and updates in platform algorithms and listing best practices.
- Collaboration and Coordination:
- Work closely with the ecommerce team to ensure the timely launch of new products and marketing campaigns.
- Collaborate with suppliers to enhance product descriptions and ensure high-quality visuals.
- Provide feedback to the management team to improve website functionality and user experience.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in operating e-commerce platforms such as eBay, Amazon, Word Press and WooCommerce.
- Strong knowledge of SEO, product listings optimization, and digital marketing strategies.
- Experience in managing inventory, order fulfilment, and customer service in an e-commerce setting.
- Proficiency in data analytics tools, Microsoft Excel, and online sales management software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Strong attention to detail, especially regarding products online.
Desirable but not essential
- Experience in the motorsport or retail/ecommerce industries.
- Familiarity with Google Analytics and paid search/social media advertising tools (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager).
- Familiarity with email marketing software such as Mailchimp.
- Knowledge of product photography, photo editing, and graphic design tools (e.g., Photoshop, Canva, GIMP).
Education
· BTEC/A Levels or equivalent
