Front End Web Developer and SEO Specialist

POSITION SUMMARY
We are looking for a skilled Front-End Developer to join our team. As a Front-End Developer, you will be responsible for creating visually engaging and interactive web applications, ensuring they are optimized for maximum speed, scalability, and SEO. This role requires a developer with a passion for delivering polished user experiences and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Creating, maintaining and upgrading the templates on the customer facing website and backend systems
- Designing and building email templates
- Working with the UI/UX designer to improve the website
- Optimising pages for SEO
- Using JavaScript to improve the interactivity and functionality of the website and back-end systems
- Optimising images for web and email
- Basic web page copywriting.
Skills Required
- HTML 5
- Figma or other wireframe
- CSS / Responsive Design / UIKit or a similar libraries such as Bootstrap
- PHP, NodeJS
- JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, JSON, XML
- Experience with SEO, WPO
- Experience designing and building email templates
- Testing and Debugging
- Image manipulation
- Version Control, GIT
Desired Skills
Ideally you will have some experience building front-end web tools in a working environment and working within a development team. Understanding of SEO principles, page optimisation and optimising content for SEO would be beneficial. Knowledge of SEO tools.

Salary/Remuneration
The starting salary for this position is £25,000 to £28,000 per annum
Working Hours
Monday to Friday 9.00 to 5.30pm.
