We are seeking an experienced Marketing Assistant for a fantastic opportunity working for a valued client of ours based in Grimsby. This is a 2 year fixed contract with view to becoming a permanent role with the company.

Reporting into the Marketing Manager, the role summary is as follows:

Assisting the Marketing Manager in the development and implementation of its international marketing strategy, including:
Marketing campaigns – planning of marketing campaigns and supportive communication materials to support the wider sales strategy
Global web presence – enhancing the user experience, creating engaging content, and improving overall organic SEO
Ecommerce – ensuring the ecommerce platform is effective and sample orders fulfilled in a timely manner
Paid for traffic (PPC) – assessing PPC options as a potential route to increase website traffic
Email marketing – utilising Mail Chimp to deliver marketing messages to growing mailing list
Social media – managing a calendar of social media activity for various platform and creating posts accordingly
Webinars & Presentations – developing webinars and general presentation materials
Exhibitions/tradeshows/conferences – planning of events that align with sales strategy
PR & Advertising – maintaining relationships with key media to ensure relevant editorial and advertising opportunities are harnessed.
Collaborating with Marketing Manager to enhance marketing results via all channels, including measurement and analysis of key performance metrics, including website traffic, audience engagement, bounce rate, and return on investment
Coordinating with the Marketing Manager to identify innovative marketing opportunities
Communicating with external agencies/service providers as required

Contributing ideas to the overall annual marketing plan and supporting the Marketing Manager as needed with other marketing tasks as required.
